Joined right after IPO to lead ixigo's third attempt at hotels. Took the vertical from roughly 700 to 4600+ room nights per day in about a year against much larger OTAs. Owned product, P&L, supply, pricing and cross sell across app and web. Hired and led a 25 person team across product, engineering, supply and CX while putting in place ranking, pricing and merchandising systems for the next phase of growth.
Co-Founder & CEO • Nov 2020 – Present
Built LaunchPod as a product studio for non technical founders. Led strategy, product quality and P&L while growing a fully distributed team to 230+ people. Personally oversaw 12+ MVPs across FinTech, HealthTech, SaaS, SportsTech and AI, helping clients raise between $100K and $3.5M. Typical work: take a rough idea, shape it into a usable product in 90–120 days and help the founder get to first customers or funding.
VP & Head - Hotels Business • Jul 2018 – Oct 2019
Brought Paytm into hotels as a new line of business. Shipped the first version in 90 days, then scaled to about ₹42.5M in monthly revenue within 10 months. Owned end to end product and business for hotels including P&L, supply, pricing, merchandising and ops. Built and led a 150+ person org across product, engineering, sales and operations while integrating deeply with Paytm's payments and consumer app.
Built India's last minute hotel booking app from scratch, scaled it to 1,000+ hotels in 30 cities, bootstrapped to meaningful MRR and exited to Paytm.
